Mr Meli encouraged participants to perform better in their various service delivery functions. The  Registrar of the University ,Prof Abollo Edande in her presentation highlighted the need for such a seminar and emphasized it was a platform to encourage social dialogue, given the fact that the forum  was  aimed at inculcating the spirit of punctuality; steadfastness; assiduity; courtesy through the exposes and presentation of the highly profiled consultants and experts of Malcom Davy. The Registrar called on staff to sieze the opportunity to learn to put into practice what was gathered during the seminar as it would improve on the image of the institution at the national and international scene. The Vice Chancellor during his launching speech called on staff to exploit the opportunity as he thanked the registrar and experts for their impute during the workshop. He highlighted that a pedagogic seminar was earlier organized for the academic staff all in a bid to improve academic prowess. The first phase of the seminar ended with exposes on the Elements of Administrative Ethics and Deontology by the experts as well as the Communication by institutions of Higher learning: the case of the University of Dschang by the Chief of Service for Information and Communication, Dr Djimeli.

The staff were then divided into different workshop groups where exchange sessions as well as support material were shared by the experts. The activities of the 2nd day rounded up the two day seminar to the satisfaction of management and staff. At the end of the seminar attestations were handed to the participants by the Vice Chancellor.  He charged them to adequately educate themselves on the appropriate text, decisions on the functioning of the institution while assuring them of his continuous support for capacity reinforcement of staff of the university.
